Andhra Pradesh state stands first in number of HIV/AIDS infected and affected cases in the country with about nearly 8.00lakh positive people.   Kurnool district is in second place in the state in terms of highest cases of HIV/AIDS infected and affected.   

Therefore, AARDIP is working with vulnerable groups such as female sex workers, men having sex with men, trans-genders to prevent spread of HIV/AIDS.
